Kimd41, everything is solvable in case of faults. In the worst case, return to the previous state.

Btw, I have the control unit and airbag wiring (5K0) from my previous multifunction steering wheel (R model), in perfect condition. Maybe I could sell them to you (very cheap) in case you need them.
Both = 36€ + shipping - Spain - registered with tracking number 4,85€, payment by paypal.
Also, I'll give you three little presents that you'll need to install this MFSW, the two wires (+ and LIN) and the fuse.

My dear friend, the small adapter is a little joke, you already know me ... you can use it for whatever you want, you can even throw it away if it is your desire, the joke has fulfilled its mission ...

Negative pole and its connections. It appears on the auto scan but the battery light does not disappear.
Maybe it's a coding problem. Have you spoken with firegrafik or ZZZhuk?
There is no error in the modules, everything ok but the battery light does not turn off.
Will the alternator with LIN (LIN) be missing?

Do a test: (engine OFF)

BCM:
- Enable Byte20 Bit3
- If coding is accepted, make an ignition cycle. (extract the keys from the ignition, etc ...)

- Return to the previous state if nothing happens.

Post here VCDS scan. I think it will help the diviners, magicians, fortune tellers, geniuses and other specimens.

What is byte20 bit3 responsible for?

it indicates the presence of the LIN generator (alternator operated by the LIN databus)

No problem.
Bit 0 Alternator with LIN bus installed
Bit 1 Battery/sensor with LIN bus installed
