Was that from VW or your dealer? I've noticed a few ships have been to Grimsby from Emden the last few days but not had any updates on mine, which port is yours at?

Dealer phoned me on Tuesday afternoon to say that the car was in the UK awaiting priority transport from the dock. How much of a priority who knows.

Wooo stage 5C update this morning, my dealer emailed last night to say it was on a boat to the UK, but getting the notification from VW is nice!

Update from my dealer saying the car is marked as Status 3 and awaiting shipment from the UK from Emden. Does anyone think I'm likely to see it in the next two weeks? I'm not I might have to look at pushing the detailing appointment back.

For anyone waiting on their delivery, i had an update this morning

Date of order: 4th June 2018
Order number received: 6th June 2018
Order with the factory: 21st September 2018
Build week confirmed: 28th March 2019, build week 19
Car built: 8th May 2019
In transit 5a: 11th May 2019
In transit 5b: 1st June 2019

Just got my 5a notification from the tracker this morning although worried that others have shown long lead times between 5a and actually getting the car. Can anyone give any rough indication when I'm likely to get the car?

The dealer told me they roughly expect 4-6 week delivery times from build. We are currently on the end of week 5 from the build and apparently, it has only just left Emden...

Did you ever managed to find out which ship yours was on? I’ve been asking my dealer for a couple of weeks and he’s been unable to confirm. He said that the 5a notification means its 100% on a ship. (I don’t believe him based on experiences from others on here). Yours must have been on the Morning Cara as that docked in Emden on Thursday and I would hope mine was too. It was built the week before yours and my 5a was the same date but I haven’t had my 5b yet. Fingers crossed it’s on the next ship and not still sat at PE.

Has anyone on here had there car arrive at Emden without ever being logged as on a ship?

It was indeed the Morning Cara, although I didn’t know that until it docked in Emden, it sounds like yours will have been on it too, it’s all getting very real now
