Then you'd pretty much have a mk2 1.0, I believe (am I right in thinking that mk2 engines all had the same valve sizes etc?). Personally I think you'd be better off just having an entire 1.3 lump 
yeah mk2 1.0 have same heads as 1.3s so Im told. Even etka lists the HZ engine as having 50bhp!
putting a mk2 engine in a mk3 isnt too much of a problem but a mk3 in a mk2 is, as the mk3 engines have no provision for a mechanical fuel pump.
