yeh, so hold on, on full lock it wouldnt touch anything inside, because the rims i had on it did touch inside so i was going to get thinner tires up front... outside is not a problem, i was giong to roll the arches, but tbh i would have been happy with a UNIQUE set of 14's....ok you measure them and tell me adn then if the price is to my likeing then yupyup we sort out a pick up date.....how much would one tire be for them, economy, cheapest please! im only 17 lol

6" is the width of the rim
15"is the diameter.

The ats cups that were on my G40 were 7"x15" ET20
They have low-pro 195/45/15 tyres.

I never really liked how the car drove on them, was too unpredicatable and unstable, and even with huge ammounts of my inner and outer arches ground away they would scuff when driving the car hard. Its now much much better back on the standard 13's. Personally i'd say don't go for anything bigger than 14".

haha then wouldnt it cost me double, anyways, im going to try and cut the lip of the arches in places so i can bend it inwards and see if this helps...would this affect me getting a mot?

i think the MOT checks that nothing touches the wheels e.g arch....and that the trye tread doesn't stick outside the arch

its a risky business when you start cutting bits of arch away..... if you don't re-paint them properly then its a definate rust trap

no no, im just making three slits so i can fold it inwards, so it can be folded properly, i mean if i dont make the slits you know what would happen, it would just all go bent and stuff lol

makein just slits then folding can make it look like a 50p coin you'll need more slits fold a bit of paper in half and cut slits in one half then try and make a circle with the paper you'll see what i mean
