Microfibre clothes are generally able to soak up much larger amounts of water and therefore cut the drying time down by rather a lot :)

I need a new leather chamois, mine's on its last legs and is about to be demoted to wheel-drying duties!

Microfibre polishing cloths are what i use, i first bought a £10 Meguiars one which i was very impressed with.

But £10 is a lot of money for a cloth and you can buy microfibre cloths from Wilko's for 99p in the car section  these are not quite the same quality but beleive me they do just as good a job as the Meguiars ones. You just need to unpick the scratchy label and remove it.

Autoglym Aqua Dry is my chamois of choice, excellent and will last you years if you keep it in the plastic box. buy one youll not regret it
