Hmm. Must admit that I'm not a fan of the Audi at all, maybe it's the car, maybe the wheels dont suit it. I stole a pic of polo chris's car (sorry chris) and goldified it:

I'm not 100% sure on it. I've got until the 15th April to decide.[/list]

You know what, based on that pic there I am actually warming to the gold idea.

However I think a lighter shade, like you've achieved with that photo would work best compared to the quite harsh colour on the Audi. Also you would be able to get genuine BBS centre caps with gold logos to match.

oh aye, gold BBS centrecaps would look the business.

Even if I couldn't get gold caps, I'm a bit handy with paints and I'm sure I could fabricate some gold BBS lettering.

Has anyone actually drilled out damaged BBS bolts?

They're sunk in (kinda) so you cant grind the head off it. I'm scared I damage the mating-threads on the wheel itself. could be in big trouble if I do that.
ive drilled them out using a battery gun. just drilled until the head came off then turned the wheel round and with a firm whack with a heavy hammer the centre popper out. i then remeved the rest of the bolt with a pair of pliars.

THis is the coulour i had mine when i had them.anthricite was the coulour excuse the spelling

Looks nice. What's with the wheel bolts? They don't look like normal wheel bolts.

They are wheel bolt caps, covering the heads of the wheel bolts.

I think the gold BBS on the black polo looks awesome!! 8)

I've been thinking about refurbing mine for a while and was heavily swaying towards getting the centres done a smokey grey colour. But after seeing all the gold rim pics I'm not so sure now :)
