Just read through all of this. Really sucks your not getting any luck with the wheels bryony.

Ireally cant remember much vibration with them.....i probably get more with my current BBS's and i only get that when i slow quite sharply when going about 70mph. and its only betwwen about 70-55mph then it settles again, but is never dash shakingly bad

With regards to the center caps, the paint does seem to be a little thick, but i just put the washers on and tightened the caps on.....never moved after that. Bryony, the tightener is on its way btw.

I really dont know what it could be, i can only think it'll tighten everything up when lowered, but i really am not sure.

I think I'm going to take it back to the place that did the tracking and see if they can figure it out, they seemed very good and the guy who did the balancing at a different place did seem to be about 17! Assuming I fix the vibration problems, I wouldn't really mind paying for a refurb to get them looking perfect because they are wicked wheels and so rare!

And Tom - its not going to make me any slower if thats what you mean, after a recent throttle body clean and new spark plugs, its running really well and I beat my mates Golf GTI for the first time in ages last nite! Just means I feel a little more unstable doing it!
