i wish i was having that kinda luck with my car right now lol,

Im hoping that it is the pedal box that has broken as it would cost me nothing but if its the clutch it could cost me about £400 to get it all done.

Im hoping my car will go on the truck he brings tonight because i cant drive the car ( you men could probably drive it with no clutch, but im a women. ha ha )

if your unsure about whether it'll go on the truck, why dont you try and toe it?

Good to hear that VW have said they'd fix it for free if its the box. Since its had the recall done once I never really thought about it. Did you call Peter Coopers in Portsmouth or Chi?

its not registered with them as having been done, so they have no idea it has already been replaced

Excellant, although be careful if they want to see the service book as I think its on there as well as the stamp under the boot carpet saying its been done.

Probably a good call with trying Chichester, the lot at Portsmouth Coopers are awful, they told me it wasn't possible to adjust the camber on the Polo, took it to an alignment place and they did it perfectly!

Not all of them needed a recall. It hasn't been done on mine either and there are no recalls outstanding.

yeh thats what they told me Alun,

i think it maybe a case of some dont mind doing it, some will avoid it at all measures!
