Two cans of primer and laquer will do the trick. Not sure what quantity you can get the main coats in but something close to the prime and laquer would be fine.

before i bought the votex i was quoted about 250 to de-texture and paint the lower bumpers grill and sort out a scuff or two i had.
it is norm about 80-90 a bumper.
can anyone confirm how the roofliner comes down from the roof to get to the aerial base?

when i've sorted out painting my few bits they'll probs be next.
i've been looking for 20mm ones but haven't seen any cheep enough.

you wanna get yourself quality spacers Pip, can't go wrong with H&R 20mm hubcentric ones! Top quality german manufacturing thaty actaully bolt to the hub then the wheel bolts to the spacer!
around £77 plus delivery from Rimstyle.

Yeh I wouldn't opt for cheap alternatives, they'll be the only things holding your wheels one!

i have a few more updates on the car, when i can find my lead to connect my phone to the comp
also, do you need to WET wet n dry 1200 grit paint before laqure?

well i now have pictures of what i've been doing over the weekend.
none of them on my car as the car needs a clean - off to clean it after this post.
well the front grill, decided i wanted it silver to match my car. and whilst i was at it i did a bit of red detailing (used a voxhaul flash red):
theres a few marks that you would expect doing paining for the 1st time.
but overall looks pretty good (just hope the paint is a match
)
then after some questions to dino (thanks btw) i did this to the rear badge:
(need to take a complete pic of this)
also painted my calipers all round:
any comments welcome, or if you would want me to do a 'how to' / 'diy guide' then i have step by step pics too
Edit: pictures of front grill on..
the paint is darker though so wont be staying on for long.
looks good in the dark though

Nice work mate, I think I prefer the original grill though myself.
Looks like you went a little too trigger happy on the caliper! du get the pad and the disc aswell lol?

brush paint is definitely the way forward for calipers "in-situ"

i actually painted them with a brush, and hammerrite
thats the only one but i kinda got bored by then and just slapped it on, it's come off disc now though.
i recon the grill looks smarter and makes the car look that bit more sporty, and the red doesn't show to much
