Cool. Wings smoothed, Boot Smoothd and petrol cap. Its getting there now and just want the BBS wheels on now, over the winter hoping for a retrim. I can still put the badge on if i want to but i like it off :D

Mouse, the solenoid is easy to do - i was doing a bit of work on it today - and got it wired up to the rear wiper buttonl. Il do a quick DIY tomorrow!

Any suggestions on future mods then fire away...

Ops, i didnt update this did I.

I stripped the wheels down, and swaped my 2" for a set of 1" polished lips, i then had the 1.5" lips polished as well.

I swapped the 205/45/15 tyres for a new set of the 195/45/15 Toyo Proxies 4 (i think thats the name - there new range)

So... now i have

Rear - 7.5" - 1.5" Lip polished with 195/45/15 toyos
Front - 7" - 1" Lip polished with 195/45/15 toyos - it goes round bends like nothing else!

Reason I done this was the 8" was far tooooo wide... this is the 8" rears AFTER i had the arches done...

Image

Even with my 7.5" wide rears now - im still getting rubbing with passengers. My car is away on the 29th Aug for the last bodyshop (sides , mirror, ariel and THE ARCHES - i want them pulled out more and all sorted out so i can get it lower at the back - so i shall have some pics up soooooon!

Really like it - a good example of how smoothing should be done, nothing too over the top, just right

Looks brill mate! Really liking it.

It's crazy how you have so much more problems with scrubbing than I do.

Whats the ET of your wheels?

I'm on 195/45/15 tyres with a 15X8 ET 25 rim all round, I think I'm pretty much exactly the same height as you, and I don't have that many issues?

When the wheels were 8" , they were meant to be ET12. I think now they are 7.5" then they will be a bit higher on the ET - not sure, need to work it out!

Cheers for the comments guys 8)
