Great photos Doug. I didn't think I'd taken that many either, but they soon add up.

What lense are you using? Bloke at work asked me after I showed him one of the pictures of Tom's R32 on the Strip, as he's got the 400D, and has been looking at a few lenses lately :D

Cheers mate, really pleased with some of the pics!

I would have been using one of two lenses. the first being an 18-55mm standard canon one which tends to come with the camera. the other is a sigma 70-300mm lens

here is a link to the lens : http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses ... avigator=3

Tell me which pic you are on about and i'll find out what the focal length was. i did use both lenses on the quater mile but the longer lens was perhaps a little too long for the closeness of the track, had to stand a good couple of meters away from the barrier to get the car in! but it was good when you think that the pics of the cars on the start line were from nearly as far as you could go!

Cheers Doug

It was this pic I showed him

But I've just checked the focal length myself, and it's 86mm so I presume you were using the Sigma lens.

I'll have to show him that, as it doesn't look too expensive, although I think he was only looking upto 200mm :D

Thanks Stacey, I absolutely love the way the lines on the altea flow from the tip of the headlight down the body!

Pictures are amazing Bryony. Do you use multiple exposures on the campsites snaps?

Rhys, good to see you've signed up!
