Your the second person to mention that. But diagnostic didnt return any errors, so will be a gamble to replace it. How much is it to replace?

Another thing. what are the performance differences between

1. R Reg 6N 1.4 16v 100bhp Polo

vs

2. W Reg 6N2 1.6 16v 125bhp Polo?

Sounds like it might be the Lambda sensor does it idle roughly too?
the bit thats throwing me a bit is it's worse when it's raining, that sounds like water getting into the electrics. it should run better when the air is moist, (better combustion) mmm does sound like the lambda, and it's not always picked up on the checks either..

1 = 0-60 in 10.2 secs, 117mph top speed
2 = 0-60 in 8.4 secs, 127 mph top speed

forgotten the torque figures

This might be daft to mention but this has only occured since you had the exhaust fitted. could they have effected the Lambda in anyway?:-s

Ah i forgot to mention this. On Sunday i found one of the six wires to going to lambda senor was snapped. I repaired it. I then got VAG COM off my mate, and got the error i posted earlier 65535. Tonight i dissconnected the battery for 30mins. took the the car for a drive, made another reading, and VAG COM found no errors. 8)

I will see how it goes. Im concerned the fact I have used something to join the wire might change the resistance in the wire, therefore give incorrect reading.

fingers crossed.
