Is this the kinda shot you're going for?
A camera with manual focus would snap this fairly well keeping the car in focus and background in motion.

Yeh to obtain that sort of shot you'd need a fairly low shutter speed, then track the car so the camera is moving t the same speed as the car, keeping that in focus whilst the low S/S takes care of blurring the background.
The second chop has more potential mate, the lines just needs to run a little more horizontal.

After playing around and being given opinions on here, i've found out that the 1st motion pic will never give a realistic look of motion. The car is in the wrong place along with the angel of the wheel and where the picture was taken from. So I've given up on that one! The second picture is a bit easier to give the illusion of motion. Being that its taken from a more side on angle so I've played around with it and adjusted the blur angel and this is the best looking angel I found. No more alterations!

Here's another one i've played around with. Just lowered, moved side repeater, tinted and obviously the 911 rims.
