Interested to see how this turns out... Are you gonna smooth out the rubstrips too or put in one long rubstrip?

I've got this pic

Kinda similar, but your position for the plate is way better

wat pic? i cant see one. nope im getting rid of the rub strips to so its totally smooth. im hoping when i get the main bit done it'll fit perfectly on my car as theres a rear reinforcement bar thing behind the rear bumper so hopefully that wont ruin my plans...

then im gonna get a new exhaust, either hidden one or get a small twin central exit just slightly cut into the bumper.

only problem is, if i havnt got the recess perfectly level with the bottom of the car, when the reg plate goes on it'll notice so then i'll have to redo it a bit.

right so so far i have been doing the bumper just my computer isnt working properly so didnt think i could do n e thing but managed to figure out how to upload photos using my mums lap top now. altho i didnt get n e pics of the process up till now i do have a how it is now pic.

basically its a question of melting all the plastic to make the pieces together and now filling it up. did the rub strips to and gotta finish smoothing it and then get it primes and ready for painting.

n e one know wat type of filler i can use? im looking for something really fine like a kinda jelly or something to smooth over all the cracks and bits.

not sure. im gonna spray it in primer so its ready but thinking if i should do it myself which wont be perfect but then i can get the body shop to respray the whole car in the standard reflex silver so it looks perfect, if i did this id wait till i done the front bumper to tho.

or give it to a body shop to spray then i wont have to get that sprayed and then the same with the front one to. altho im thinking if i do it roughly myself then get the body shop to respray the whole car again then it will be all the exact same colour and look perfect first time......

here we go, so finally after getting my computer sorted and all the months of work i put in to my bumper im nearly there. here is how it finally is looking. first coat of spray paint on to give an idea. it wont be perfect as im doing the spraying myself till i get enough money to get the whole car done.

also the number plate in the pic isnt mine so dont worry about it.

thank you. considering how long its taken me im pretty impressed to. once i get the car finished the body shop can do all the really fine sanding and perfect paint job but the paint job im gonna do will do for now till the car is done how i want it.

after this i gotta get a new exhaust put on and then get hold of a front bumper so do. hopefully the front bumper will work as well as the back one :D

when i get a new job. could be a while yet. if i dont sell my car befor hand. then i'll put my car ina body shop and get them to respray probably the whole car and redo the black parts to then it'll all look perfect.
