just cheaked with the link you gave for checking area risk and i am F which is high risk

HEHE i was orignally quoted by direct line for 4 grand(black 1.4 match 6n2) and they wudent touch me if i had alloys on till i was 25 and i am 19! lol. They were going to charge me a extra 300quid because it was black! dont use direct line lol.

Checked my "Area risk" I'm in an "A" listed area
my insurance with direct line on my 1.0 is £1200, no ncb, no convictions and I'm 19.

Have any of you guys checked out Bell insurance?
It's really good I jsut got a quote of £1175 for fully comp cover, with windscreen, courtesy car, all the usual, plus I can drive anyones car insured under fire and theft.
I'm 20, no NCB no convictions (as of yet)
I couldn't get it under £1600 previously

u should go with Endsleigh - i think they specialise in covering younger drivers and students. I found that when i first bought my insurance. What u got quoted is not bad- mine was around 2k, no ncb, 3rd party etc for a polo straight out the showroom......
Guess it's because it's still quite new model and your a young driver.....

im 20, have a 1.8t coversion in my 6n2, and pay 1300 fully comp, all mods declared with adrian flux. i have 1 years ncb

Fully comp just over £500 with Tesco insurance, and I have three speeding convictions. 5 yrs NCB, just turned 30 though.
