I phoned VW and they claimed I needed to take the whole headlamp assembly out which is a bumper off job! I've done this job on my A3 and I really don't wanna do it again! Can anyone help and confirm whether this is true or a job that can be done in situe?
Cheers in advance for any info
Stan

Cheers mate, that will save me a load of time. Will I have to re-code the stereo if I disconnect the battery?

They don't do the ones we've got any more Alex! Shame, as one of mine has gone slightly off in colour.

£27.99 including postage, bought them of eBay. I didnt really wanna pay £80 for bulbs and i dont think the cheaper option is that bad. I've had not problems so far at all. Heres a link to the bulbs:

Mine have been running good since i have bought them no problems what-so-ever. Im sure the ballast will be able to handle them, because if they can't im sure i would have experienced some sort of problem by now.
