Fair play, the silver finish does look classy. Are you just running polished lip then? I think with this second set i'm going to paint the outer because i'm sick of polishing up the current set lol. GTi springs look ok, are you going to keep the rub strips black?

Depends I guess, if you find a breaker or seller with a full set I can't imagine them being that expensive? Worst come worst, just spray them. Colour match is a s**t though but anything can be done. Probably wouldn't cost a lot to get sprayed up at a bodyshop, but then the colour match might not be 100% as the car isnt new.

Car looks good mate,

Subtle changes always work the best and you have made a good start.
Front fogs and GTI grille look soo much better

the window winders are getting annoying too lol

What are the footwell lights like? I wanted to try a set, but didn't want the brightness of the cathode lights (I've got a pair in my computer), and just wanted something a little softer.

Cars looking lovely though mate, keep it up!
I'm stuck with the E model, too, but I put in electric windows, and the Rclick system, so it's not too bad.

Although, everyone told me putting in windows would be too hard/impossible, they work fine! (Y)

Got any pictures of the lights?

The footwells lights are awesome ! Perfect colour match with the dash 8) . You can always wrap tinting film around them to soften the brightness mate :) electric windows are always a bonus, I might do mine soon ! Havnt got a proper picture yet as they aren't fitted yet, I only tested them 8)

How did these go? are they OEM quality and solid or have they got a cheapish feel especially the windows? are are they OEM?

and is the Rclick system any good? about to go for it with the alarm package :D

They were pretty easy to fit, although running the loom was kinda hard. They came off a 6N2 that already had electric windows, so they were just plug and play.

The only thing i had to do was run a live feed from the fusebox to the doors, and then the cables to control the other door (the driver switch can control the passenger side, too).

And the Rclick seems really good, I've had it for 7 months now, and its still working fine.
The keys even come with a VW sticker, so they look almost OEM.
