Pics added. Work in progress.
I have posted some on my Facebook as I don't have my digital camera.
Alex has pointed me in the right direction for body shops where we live as I am kind of new to the area.
I will be please once I sort the body BUT there is a knock when I pull away which I need to fix asap as it don't sound healthy.

Hopefully. I will get some powerflex bushs. Gonna check after I get it back.
I have the whole front end coming off next weekend to fit my rad as this one looks old.

Re: My new Gti. It's RED!!!
The people who did my MOT screwed up my wheel bearing. So now it's fine. Well, until I took it to see alex earlier.
Came up with just a few fault codes:
No alarm
No aircon
No immobiliser
And a few others. But this feels faster and smoother than my silver one.
Just need to sort the paint bit by bit I guess. Oh, and a Gti badge for the front.

Don't worry about it Brad
the best ones on this site all started out in less than perfect condition.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this progresses. Think of it this way, It'll be more fun to just restore it to a decent standard rather than just buy one in already good condition
You'll appreciate it more that way.
Now get some more pictures up

My vynil is coming for the badges and just waiting on some from Greg then on to the body work.
Fitted my dtm now. This car pulls and now sounds nice.

The car has more peel than a sun burnt chav.
Bonnet and roof are ok, and 2 doors. The rest needs work.

Started to wet and dry my front bumper to prep them to be transformed from silver to red. Gonna get a mate to spray as he is a smart repairer for vw.

Re: My new Gti badge pic pg3
Most of the damage was on the other side of the pic.
I made ALOT of money breaking mine. So much that I paid for a holiday for me and mrs & kids to turkey and brought a new car. Made sence to me.
