In the end I went for
RED
I just need some tips now on the best way to fit it to the grill

Very easy
remove the grille, get the tape and get a hair dryer
Clean the run where the tape goes with a degreaser such as intensive tar remover or similar
start from the top and carefully put the tape into place
use the hairdryer to help you curve it on the bends and go over it with a hair dryer when done to get the glue to bond nicely
leave it to cool and refit to the car

You make it sound so easy

Lol iye it is
Just be careful with the grille when removing it from the car, the 3 clips that slot into the bumper can sometimes be stiff so just ease them out gently without using too much force.

The bit you pull to close the door def needs something doing to it as its badly peeling. I cant think of the name of it

but I think you have done yours.

Grille looks great... much better than the piping I bought from ebay. Certainly much redder and brighter as well. Think will it wash off? I might have to give that a go myself.

I've had mine on for about 10 months now, and it hasn't come off once, not even peeling

It just says on the back of the pack dont wash the car for 72 hours after.
As it has been raining (putting it nicely) I have not put my grill back on yet, but it will be going back on this weekend
