I'd put your mobile number on the first post buddy. That way people can contact you faster.

Re: 6n2 GTI for sale
Good news! no really! Charged her up, started no problem and ran like a dream for ages
!
Also gave the poor beastie a rinse with the PW, considering a price drop, cos i paid over the odds for the car really (dumbass!)
Looking at the condition of her theres a fair bit needs doing to get the paint up to standard, a few more noticeable scuffs and scratches
!
I was hoping to fix the cosmetic problems after getting the rims, but then things started going wrong
!
Paid out to get her running, alternator, spare gearbox in, and new clutch, and she has graced our tiny driveway ever since!
I will endeavor to post up a vid that shows the warts and all condition, and figure the minimum price i can accept.
Its going to hurt my wallet whatever, so i may as well take the hit, and just remember the good times!
Peas out yall!

Okay, here we go.
Im probably shooting myself in the foot here, but honesty is the best policy!
A couple of things, you cant see the mileage, and the video cuts off before the grand finale with fireworks, dancers, and my big musical number
!

The mileage is still the same as above, i havent done more than move her back and forth on the driveway since the first post.
Also there seems to be a tiny leak that leaves a few droplets of water on the parcel shelf. This was a big problem previously, with quite a pool forming, i removed the spoiler brake light and put a bead of sealant on the mating surfaces.
I was a bit worried i hadnt used enough, and very occasionally a few drops appear, but the vast reduction in quantity suggests another application will completely cure the issue.
One more thing, this SORN rule makes it pretty difficult, but anyone wishing to purchase is welcome to use our computer and printing facilities to obtain an insurance printout, and we can provide transport to the local post office too
All the best.
James

Still here! It is a lovely driveway ornament
! The GTI seems to be losing its cool factor and value.
Most tempted to ask a bloke i know with many sheds if i can lock it away for 20 years, may not lose so much dollar then
Just noticed a pretty crappy repair on a rear headrest too
must have cracked/faded in the sun.
Anyone who wants to make a reasonable offer, please do, ten or twelve bits of interior trim and RX2's (in need of refurb) included.
Ta folks!
James.
