Sorry I was being facetious. I think the car is noisy on startup and once warmed up hardly notice it. Others think different.

I'd always trade a bit of noise for the extra BHP and wallop of torque.

Yeah, but once you are in the open roads it is quiet as a mouse.

However, I don't think I will get another TDi in the future.
