If you want to retain full compliance, then just buy VAG brake fluid, ie DOT4, that is what I do when I replace my brake fluid every 2 years, costs the same as normal quality brake fluid, and who does not want to use normal quality brake fluid?

One other issue with service oils in UK, VAG now list only one oil that they will use in your engine, well that is the claim, that oil is Castrol Edge LL Professional 5W-30, if it is going into a VW it needs to be taken from a container with a VW badge on it, if it is going into an Audi, it needs to be taken from a container with an Audi badge on it - this makes a lot of difference (tongue stuck in cheek firmly!). Now, next think, in UK this oil is only available in 1 litre containers, now I can see the sense in that for aftermarket sales as it will normally get bought as a top-up container, but if you want to carry out an oil change - now that gets expensive. For the record, "mytyres" in Germany, sell that oil cheaply again in one litre containers. Turns out that Shell also market a VAG "Professional" 5W-30 oil for longlife or variable period servicing - it sometimes finds its way into new VAG cars as a top-up supply, strange after the "only Castrol" as that is what is stamped into the oil fill caps! So what is the difference between Castrol Edge Ll 3 and Castrol Edge LL Professional - maybe only a fluorescent marker dye! Are we getting con'd by VW UK and Audi UK, Seat UK and Skoda UK still do not seem to provide variable servicing so there are no Seat or Skoda specific containers of oil yet. Oh, one last thing, are we really meant to believe that VW and Audi dealerships buy in their oils in one litre containers, I suspect that nothing has changed and the oils are delivered in bulk and that it might be Castrol or even Mobil.
