Re: Polo 6R Brake Upgrade

Hey guys,
Looking for some assistance.
I have a 1.4 comfortline Polo MK5 6R Vivo 2018 model in South Africa.
I am in the process of upgrading the front brakes.
I bought the complete housing with calipers, wheel bearings, etc from a 1.8 Gti 9n3 Polo in hopes of just bolting on the setup
Anything to take into consideration when attempting to fit these? A question of the Ball joints being different has come up. Wondering if anyone has done a similar mod before, any info will be highly appreciated.
I am unsure if the wheel bearings are the same or will fit but from the research I've done it seems that they have the same spline count and may potentially work.
I am aware that the 9n3 & 6R ball joints are different. I was hoping that I could use the existing 6R ball joints on the 9n3 Knuckle/Carrier or the 9n3 ball joints on the 6r which will bolt to the control arm.
Alternatively, I sell everything I've purchased and just put new discs and pads on the 6r (which I don't want to do) as they are small and look whack.
Side note: This is solely for aesthetics not so much performance however would be nice to have considering the future plans for motor swap.
