Yes, the Polo GTI+ has manual air con.
Unless you pay £400-odd quid for auto climate as an option.

It was on my Golf as standard, but didn't feel it was worth paying out for on the Polo, unless it comes with a preheated for instant warm air in the Winter (apparently it doesn't).
It might do..
I have it on mine and warm air comes through after about 60 seconds.
Either it is self heated or the heat exchanger warms up very quickly.

I’ve only done 100 miles in mine so far but I’m thrilled with it - it’s smooth, refined, and I love the tech - I can’t wait to put my foot down when it’s fully run-in! :D I didn’t know it had those dashboard light inserts until I saw your post - it made me even more excited to pick her up! I’ve not had a DSG ‘box so I’m still figuring out how best to work with it, but that’s part of the joy of a new car

I've had GTI+ No1 since August and we are getting another this coming Wednesday - if ordering another isn't a glowing review, I don't know what is.

Will be interested to drive the new one and see the differences the WLTP compliant/GPF equipped and the old one without.

Just had mine in for warranty work, and after 8 days driving, I'm certain they've updated the engine management software while it was in. On a cold start, driving below 10mph (like leaving the works car park on an evening) it used to be a little lumpy - kangarooing mildly - that is completely gone now. Similarly, the gearbox changes are a little smoother.

The second one is replacing a Golf R - faster, but less fun to drive.

It's really good to see such positive feedback. I am thrilled with the car also, however I am so nervous of some knob head coming along and shattering my positivity by either stealing it or damaging it in some way. I say this because it's the first time I have ever had a new new car and to such a high specification, obviously I have fully comp insurance but I've read some rather daunting feeds in our forum..

My car is 600miles in now and it's starting to feel looser and not so stiff meaning the driving style is feeling more comfortable, gears not so shifty, brakes not so hard etc.

I even treated it to some decent detailing stuff, snow foam, shampoo etc... Now I just need the weather to improve. Haha.

Thanks for reading guys, happy motoring and may your car's bring endless joys... [emoji106]

Yeah the dashboard lights make the car look so nice at night and the led headlights too..

Looks like you went with the 18" bresica alloys, they make a big difference to the overall look..

I'm sure that can be arranged! New car coming Weds (trailered up to Newcastle from Listers Nuneaton - broker deal). Also, Weds night I'm taking the current one to the local dealership for warranty appraisal (tailgate lower edge colliding with rear bumper top when closing, chipping the tailgate paint, and seemingly rubbing when the car is being driven). Will have to get a pic of both Weds afternoon.
