My only issue is I want a red gti, my darling daughter wants me to get the blue and my inner detailer wants the white to hide swirl marks!
Go with your inner detailer šŸ‘ šŸ™‚.

Both look great in my opinion.

My original order had Parkers, however it was a GTI (not GTI+). I managed to pick up a cancelled order which was actually further ahead in production. Same colour (White/Black) just with the Brescias instead. They're a bit of a pain to clean but I don't mind!

It is the easiest to maintain. Removing tar spots is far easier than hiding swirl marks. My white gtd was so easy to maintain and keep looking beautiful.

You may have persuaded me to finally pick a colour SRGTD. Just got to wait a few more months to get to two years and jump out the roc.

It was the biggest doubt until finalizing the purchase, even now almost a year later I sometimes find myself wondering if it would have been better to choose the Brescia over the Parkers.
But I barely get in the car and drive it for a few kilometers to realize that I don't regret the choice.
In the area where I live, the roads are very poorly maintained and due to previous experience in the MK6 Golf, which was 18 '', Parkers were an excellent choice, at least for me.

As for maintenance Brescia/Parkers would be the same, I'm careful enough to keep them spotless with the appropriate products. :D

I like both, but the problem of Parkers is that Parkers are in 17.

For the maintenance of my Brescias, I covered the wheels with a ceramic coating (CarPro Cquartz Dlux).

I have seen a few 2020 models with Brescia Wheels come with Bridgestone Turanza T005.
I wonder how these compare to the T001?

Just as bad - following the same Bridgestone formula:

Long life because they're rock hard. Poor wet grip, poor dry grip, lots of tyre roar poor initial traction - all because they're rock hard.

Same story with the Potenzas, whether it be S001 or RE050A. It is maddening to see VW put crap tyres on the car and ruin everyday enjoyment and usability. A change in Bridgestones to something better is one of the best upgrades you can do. Don't wait until the end of your PCP when you change the fronts out and realise what a difference your new tyres make.

Thanks for the heads up boet I'll keep an eye on this once we released from lockdown. I'm considering replacing my current tyres with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 as per Monkeyhanger (and others) recomendations on this forum. He also suggested replacing with 225/40/18 instead of 215 (std) because they are cheapr although I will need to confirm with Barons if it will affect my 100k/3yr motorplan. I've also noticed there is an ET difference bewtween the 215 and 225 but again, can only resolve once ready to repalce the tyres.

The current set of Turnazo's (rotated every 6000 - 8000 KM's) have approx. 23500KM's on them and should last about another 15/20 000KM's if I drive "really nicely", easier said then done.

My dealer, VW Hatfield said no issues with warranty on fitting 225/40r18 tyres.

I have not rotated my tyres yet, keeping an eye for special prices on tyres.
So far tyres that offer the side lip protection is the Turanza,Potenza, Pilot Sport. Eagle F1.
The edge shoulder of the tyres looks the most worn out and chipped.strange ! It makes the tyre look completely worn out. Middle thread has a lot of rubber left.
I have my tyres at 2.6 bar.
