I wrote to the Quaife manufacturer, but they didn't know what could be used for the 0A8 gearbox. They sent me to TSR Performance. According to TSR Performance the 13R is ok for Polo :)
TSR is the company that fitted mine so i'm sure they are right

Great, I ordered this QDF13R with ARP 204-3003 bolts, probably the package will be delivered to me this month.
In the meantime, I managed to buy manual MQ350 gearbox QQR from Polo AW GTI :)

The AW GTI was produced with both manual and DSG options in some markets for a short period of time. There are one or two AW GTI owners on the forum with manual gearboxes.

The manual version was meant to be available in the UK before the end of 2018 and pretty much all the early UK reviews of the car make reference to this. Unfortunately it never happened though.

Never looked at the AW (too many doors) but heard there was a manual coming but never did but at least it got a wet clutch dsg

Potentially going to view a GTi after all this time as the insurance is now reasonable :). Have any new issues reared their heads?
