TCP & TPMS buttons
I decided to fit buttons for TCS and TPMS set. Both of them to the center console.
I bought those buttons from Aliexpress.
The connectors and the wiring
The schematic:
Testing the wiring and the buttons.
The illumination looking good.
Next step is the fitting.
I had to remove the RCD, the center console and the
A mess...
On the top there are the 2 connectors from Hazard warning lights and Heated rear window.
According to the schematic, the illumination wires should are No3 and No6 and should be connected to No3 and No6 of the Heated rear window connector.
And the final result :
I haven't connect the other cables yet, i have to drive 2 of them to the engine compartment and another one to SC30.
So long those buttons are for decoration purposes only. I have to do the rest of the wiring and some coding with VCDS.

Some other thing.
Today I tried to take out the fuse box (under the steering wheel).
I removed the 2 bolts to loosen the box, but I could not remove it. My purpose was to open it from the back, to add a new security.
Is it something I miss? What do I have to do to get it out?

Hello.
I have trouble swapping the BCM module. I have tried so many times with the help of a technician who has on line connection with the VW servers (ODIS etc)
I have bought 2 BCMs (used) with codes 6C0937089C and 6C0937089D, (mine is 6C0937087C)
All the times at the end, ODIS couldn't completed the procedure, the message on the screen says "Component protectionfor Data not yet coded in diagnosis interface. Perform task""19 - Diagnosis interface for Data, component protection (Basis)""
So i wonder if the swap isn't possible using Used BCM and needs only new one.
Is there anyone who have done this procedure to help me please ?
Also another question, i am willing to install RLS (rain light sensor) on my car, is this possible with the 6C0937087C BCM ?

It seems that someone does not take seriously the three RRR of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and permanently hardens the paths to be able to do so.
Hacking the electronic components of those who have these attitudes in XXI century is an "OBLIGATION" in defense of our planet, we do not want a new Holocaust.
Last year it was possible to reuse these BCMs, now they must be new, despite the lack of materials for the manufacture of electronic components.
I prefer not to contaminate your thread with other things that are extreme barbarities, and miseries, of some human beings who live in "democratic" places.

I undestand your feelings, i have some similar thoughts about the mockery of the high-ranking officials people at the Car indunstry.
I don't want to come at any conclusions about the need of using new module for that kind of swap, i am just asking for information or any clues.
I want to implement some improvements to my car, and i am tring with different approaches. But the number one thing i have to do is to swap the BCM with a better one that can handle more extras (as mfsw).
Right now i am at a dead end, searching for any similar cases or any ideas.

Sure, I understand you perfectly, many of us have already gone through projects similar to yours.
I think your current viable option is to install a
New BCM in order to remove the CP and continue with your project.
As I told you, for some months it is no longer possible to install some components/units in used condition (BCM, IC, etc) because it is not possible to remove the CP through an online connection with the VW servers (The wall

).
I do not know if there are other options, such as virginizing a used BCM, but it would be great if that were possible.
Good luck with your project!

OK, Fernardo, thanks for the critical information. It is a pitty, because those used modules, still selling on the ebay and other simillar sites.
I am willing to install RLS (rain light sensor) on my car, is this possible with the 6C0937087C BCM ? (this is my original BCM)
