That's a great price. Doubt they'd come to sunny Cumbria though.

Right, i have finally ordered a cruise control stalk for the polo, wont be getting until my birthday next month though (as a present from the rents) as i have noticed that my front two tyres are barely legal and bordering on 6 points so need the money to get some new tyres this weekend. Only had them on for 4 months as well, think i left the 4 wheel alignment a little too late

Just had a new CV boot fitted on the weekend as well which has knocked the tracking back out again so will definitely be sorting out another course of 4 wheel alignment as soon as possible so as not to reduce the life of the new tyres i will be picking up this weekend.

Liking the plans Neil :)
Let us know how you get on with the cruise control, something I always thought it should of had from standard.

I agree, especially as there isnt much work involved to retro fit them.

I have ordered the Pioneer AVH-3300BT head unit now, will be here for the beginning of August, cant wait to get it fitted as i can then start looking at getting the steering wheel controls working with it (hopefully)

Tiny update:

I changed my aerial for a stubby sharan aerial and ever since have not been able to listen to any radio station other than classical

I decided to get a window mounted aerial fitted and now i can enjoy listening to pretty much any station again without any crackles or hisses.

The aerial cost a whopping £6 and wasnt to bad to fit, took about half an hour.

Image

Its not the prettiest thing in the world but it works and it works well.

So glad to have the radio back again :D

That looks really good Neil, £6 is a bargain too! My little stubby was awful too

It looks pretty neat actually. I've got a little Sharan stubby as well. It's absolutely terrible, but I like the OEM look. Does the S2000 aerial offer improved reception?
