Thanks mate :) Yeh iv gone with the theme of silver and black. What colours your 9n? Colour coded handles make it look a bit more tidy in my opinion!

Fitted my GTI splitter a couple of days ago. I think the front end is complete now, and looks much more tidy :) The only thing now that needs to be done is to be lowered. I am looking at possibly getting some Eibach lowering springs soon - 45-50mm on front, 35-40mm on the back, so will keep you all updated :)

I also have my MOT tomorrow, which im hoping it will pass. There are no known problems I can see, so should be alright :)

Passed MOT easily :) Just got a couple of advisorys on my two front tyres, which are nearly worn to the legal limit which im very surprised about. Iv only had those tyres for about 6 months and covered around 2500 miles

Everything else is fine :D

Good Stuff Greg 8)

Could be a tracking/alignment issue reference the tyre wear because 2500 miles is nothing.
You havent been doing any drag races have you  ?

What brand of tyres are they?

Hi mate, I wish I did start a thread. Now my car is pretty much done. I had a standard 6n2 1.4 16V 100bhp in black.

I have replaced the rear bumper which was heavily scratched, rear wiper changed, scorpion dtm exhaust, BMC induction kit, Gti front grille, Gti splitter, Tints, Aero Wiper blades, New HT leads, New Cambelt, New H&R Sport kit 60/40, 16 inch wheels, Depo Angel eyes with HID, Soon to go on Gti rear spoiler.

Alex has helped/done with most of the fitting.

Porbably best to get a 4 wheel full laser alignment, costs around £40-60 depending where you go but its worth doing :)
