Yes, I don't think there is any H7 halogen bulb on the market that is capable of emitting a white color like xenon. (in legal terms )
Maybe you should look for LED bulbs with control units (control units will avoid diagnostic failures).

Wait, I'm going to take some photos of ones that I bought a long time ago but haven't installed yet ...

I bought them for the SCLs, but with the confinement and now the hot weather (40ºC in the shade) I am not very motivated to install them ... I will take a nap or two and meditate quietly when I install them ...

If I lived somewhere colder I would surely be locked up at home all day doing algorithms and hexadecimal calculations.

Thank you for the pictures those lamps looks great. :D
How do you think to mount them on H7 socket? Is there an adaptor?
Is there enought space for central unit inside the headlight to not modify the cap?

I'd really like to install leds but I'm worried about possible issue with italian laws. :|

You are absolutely right! Today I worked on my car all day in the outside and I'm destroied :| but it was worth because I retrofitted photocromic mirror & RLS.

Pictures of process will come soon. I'm actually facing an error with VCDS.
Have no idea why It reappeared. Last autoscans were fine but back in 2018 some autoscans I posted here show same error. It looks to disappear and then appears again for unknow reasons. Maybe the It's not related with new retrofits. I need to find a solution. :?

Perhaps some bad wiring or a defective sensor

Electrically they are plug and play. No problem.

On the other hand, the shaped part for H7 that fixes the LED lamp to the headlight is not solid with LED lamp body/structure.
I imagine that the shaped part is installed first and then the body of the LED lamp.
I think there is more than enough space inside our bixenon headlight to install this LED lamp, the fan, and the control unit ...so not to have to modify the cap.

I have not installed them yet, I cannot 100% affirm anything, only what I see in the instructions drawings (currently I only see the instructions drawings, nothing related to reading instructions for expert monkeys :)).

Problem was caused by a detached wire. Now It works like a charm. 8)

I'm sure you will post results on your topic. I'm very curious to see the result. :D

And now... from Russia with love.

After 2 months and 9 days of waiting the little package with GRA High emulator arrived!

In a couple of months I will be testing these LED lamps for the SCLs, at the end of August I have the ITV (MOT).

Great, thanks! :D

Today I managed to install GRA High emulator but for some reasons GRA speed is stuck at 0 km/h.

I connected emulator wires to CAN powertrain (old CAN) as It was told me to do.
I took CAN wires from column switch.

Do you shink I should try to connect them to new BCM max (7E0) CAN line (T32/28; T32/29)?

Below my installation way.

I don't know / don't remember, I don't have that emulator installed.
My Gra_High signal come directly from the ECU.
Better talk to firegrafik (look at his drive2.ru thread) or with iichel, I think it is the system/emulator they have installed for the Gra_High signal.

Hmm ... just tell you that the car must be moving :?: ... forget this comment if it's too obvious ...

Thank you for you answer Fernando. :)

When car is running and I press SET button CC works fine but on the bottom left It's only diaplayed 0 km/h.

I'm getting confused for which CAN line use.
Roman (emulator programmer) told me
the connection must be established to Can Powertrain.
I have just asked firegrafik who told me
Can emulator should be connected to the same CAN bus as instrument cluster. If you have BCMmax with extended can wires for the cluster so the CAN emulator should be there too.
As long as you understand I have to connect emulator wires to new CAN line of BCM max in t32/28 and t32/29 instead of the old CAN line (power train)?

Yes, connect the emulator to the new CAN lines that you installed for the BCM Max.

Hope this time everything works correctly. It will like you.👌
Please tell us the result. Thanks Francesco!

I had the same. The Russians helped me with a new firmware for my emulator. You can contact Firegrafik or rofireman

Hi guys, I connected GRA emulator to the other CAN wires from IC connector.

Nothing changed. :|

As iichel tells you, it is necessary to modify the emulator firmware so that it works correctly 'on your 6R'.
Contact them.
