Sorry about that, I'm not sure how it's decided on what ships they get loaded on and stuff, hopefully wont be too long. I ordered 09/01 so not sure if that's got any thing to do with when they loaded.

Anybody else on here taking advantage or taken advantage of the years free insurance on their GTI?
Talking to VW Insurance on the phone was a bit confusing as they kept referring to it as a Polo GTI TSI Blue Motion, but not seen anywhere before it referred to as a Blue Motion.
I'm sure it must be right as they have the list on their database but I was worried they were confusing it with a Blue GT!

Ah ok thanks, that ties up then.
The guy on the phone said it was because it has stop/start, though I thought Blue motion was a bit more complex than that!

Yep I've got the years free insurance from VW, and yes it is called a Bluemotion on my insurance docs. I was surprised too, they said it was due to the stop/start. It also has the "Think Blue" stuff that tells you how economically you're driving, suffice to say I never have that on!

Have you tweeted VW with your ON? They'll tell you if it's been allocated a boat and if so which one, odds are though it's coming from Santander given the factory is in Pamplona, mine did.

Picked my GTI up this morning. Only driven 10 miles or so back from the garage but so far very impressed with it. Build quality is in a different league to my old Fiesta ST and it feels just as quick. Really glad I went for it and haven't stopped smiling since the covers were taken off it earlier!
