Mine reached 80,000 last night... Bought it about a year and a half ago with 47k :/

Your car is Mint! loving the foot rest and the carbon effect on the splitter
Wheels look brill too want to split mine and refurb them missed out on a bargain set of bbs from ebay the other day to replace them with while we refurb them.
Did it take too long to sand them down?

Took the best part of a day to sand them down in different grades of wet and dry and then to polish them back up
Well worth taking your time over them as you acheive better results with patience

Sounds like you have run out of ideas mate
Its a shame they are soo rare really because there are not many aftermarket parts available other than the obvious choices

Haven't been on here for such a long time!

Nothing has really happened at all with the GTI. Got my MOT coming up on the 26th, dont see why it wouldn't pass! On 103,000 miles now - still going very very well! Just given it a good wash and vacuum inside! Just a recent pic
