That's not good. I had an estimated one within about two weeks of ordering, and then confirmed after about 6 weeks.

Have you spoken to your dealer? Alternatively, you can tweet @VWUKHelp your order number and they can update you.

Probably worth it, they reply pretty quickly usually.

Was reading on there some reports about issues in Emden where the cars are shipped to the UK from. Some people with older build weeks are still waiting on cars, whilst more recent ones have already been delivered.

Mine had been at the build week confirmed stage for a few weeks, as this is the build week right now I expected it to say 'being built' but it didn't and has jumped straight to 'in transit, left the factory'

Can anyone tell me if the black gti on the previous pages is flat black or deep black pearl?

Popped in to see my vw dealer earlier to ask about the cruise& park pack plus camera.

He has said he is going to email someone to ask the question but I don't hold out much joy.

Didn't even ask if my build date was still next week lmao.

Hi Tomwebster.

That one is deep black pearl. Has a hint of blue-ish purple in the paint. It is best to see it in the flesh if you are deciding between the two

So I've now got a confirmed build date of May 4 (build week 19). Order is progressing much faster than I thought it would.
