i had a call over my lapop that was sent back to John Lewis to be fixed on Jan 21st, its now ready to be picked up and they have not fixed what i asked them to and then replaced a part that didnt need replaceing!!
It it wasnt for warranty i would of fixed it myself!!
GRRRRRR n now they wont accept no for an answer, i am trying to demand a new one etc etc.
Now the MD is after me!!

i am not paying for it anyway, its under warranty.
Its a long complex story with the laptop.
I am going to go later and demand a new one!

I don't get it though, what are they suggesting?

I sent it back to them as it had the following problems:
1) Didnt charge - Blown PSU
2) Selected keys on keyboard didnt work - Needed New keyboard
3) DVD writer didnt burn DVD's - Needed New DVD Burner
4) screen would not stay up! - Hinges needed replacing
After haivng it for two months they sent it back with a new Hard Drive.......
Anyone see a faulty hard drive in my list of faults?
They have said none of the other stuff has been fixed...
So i am goin a bit mad becuase they have had it for two months (remember it is only 8 months old!) and not fixed any of the thing that needed fixing under warranty!

Thats pretty appalling to have it for 2 months and not even fix what was broken! I'm hoping that doesn't happen with my watch - sent it off for repair last week! You should definitely demand a new one - John Lewis are meant to be good at customer service!

My god!
I was quietly thinking,....'what a drama queen, they fixed the wrong thing and now he wants a new one instead of just letting them fix the real thing'
my thoughts now stand corrected, thats appaling!
thank god for your wireless toes.
