Car looks nice Greg 8) shame to see the GTI go but its good to hear its gone to a good new home.
Not a big fan of the knight alloys but its all personal choice, TDI motoring is very economical

So today I thought I would spend the day working on a few bits and pieces on the car! I added a red line on to the middle of the grill, replacing the chrome 8) I really like it, I think it breaks the front up a bit :). I also made some gloss black carbon rear inserts for the badge, which looks a lot better than standard. I debadged 'Polo' off it, but left 'TDI' on 8)

After all that, I washed it, gave it a polish, then sealed it with some collinite. I then went onto do the wheels using 'Iron-X' wheel cleaner - this is fantastic stuff! It gets any tar and muck off the wheels really well and gives a nice shine :D. I used some poorboys to seal the wheels for this upcoming weeks cold weather!

Here are some pictures as promised :)

Well well that Red Polo was actually looking rather clean and Smart. The new ones aint the same, its no longer a Polo.

Question for you, what head did you use to undo the bolts to split your 16s? I have a set which i want to take appart, but unsure on what head to use on them as they are titanium bolts which round easily!

M8 ribe bit, and if possible use an impact wrench to undo them whilst pushing down with force so the ribe bit grips as much as possible.

Its not a ribe bit, its an M8 spline bit

Ribe bits have a different profile and will damage the heads on the bolts.

Your best to use it on a long breaker bar for good leverage, whilst pushing down like Joe said
