Ths six speed boxes have been known to die, but only from driving like a dick. They don't have a limited life like the Polo ones.



They are completely different. (pictured above is a five speed)

Ohirte that's good then, I noticed Quaife supply a LSD for the 6 speed Lupo GTI boxes

Yup, the conversion is something which should be done if you're considering any kind of tuning.

You also get that smug sixth feeling and a better engine cover.

Have a pic of a pimp engine cover.

Engine Cover is Pimp but the GTI engines look better without covers especially when coupled with a stainless manifold and a good induction kit
Lupo GTI had a boring silver rocker though in comparison to the Polo which was red same applies to the brake callipers

The red flaked though.

The Lupo had red calipers, the seatbelts were all red and it got a black headlining.

Think my engine bay looks the nuts with me manifold and intake, all black inlet manifold and alternator black....

My red cam cover is well super fresh aswell, seems like most flake aswell which is a shame as they look epic all red...

Black manifold and alternator would look pimp,

have you redone the red? My original Polo engine hadn't flaked but it was pretty dirty.

Na mine is mint, like factory fresh.... Just coat it in protective silicone and it's always been nice n shiny.

Well, turns out the plastic on the spark plug wasn't actually THE problem (although it mustn't have helped matters).

Here is the little blighter which has had the car immobile for what feels a lifetime...... NOW FIXED!!!
