I got to stage 6 on Tuesday this week and my car will be at the dealership on monday next week. Then after the paperwork and my detailer doing the protection I will pick it up next Thursday. Hmmm... I work in shipping and get quite a few cars coming though us, no hold up generally unless they're coming from outside the EU and most of the time they're pre-Customs cleared anyway.stables89 wrote:

I said in an earlier post that the ST might be a bit sharper and better for instance round a track, but on the road it is not a huge difference like the press make out. The GTI is still very decent to drive and a much nicer place to be on a daily basis, the interior on the ST is so dated.
I do think the sound system is better on the ST but I am 30 now and not into having the music banging like I used to so it is not too much of an issue for me! I would rather sacrifice that for the better infotainment system on the Polo.
Healthy list of options ticked too, I did most but not that many!
Mine is scheduled to be built w/c 25th, mines a 3dr manual.
