So I'm getting a lot of conflicting info from my dealer and order tracker.

My dealer says that my car will be ready Mid-May, early-may at the soonest. (What does that even mean...)

My tracker says that the car will be ready in 7 days from now as it has just arrived in the UK.

Has anyone else had a similar situation and how long did it take from Stage 6 to 7?

I got to stage 6 on Tuesday this week and my car will be at the dealership on monday next week. Then after the paperwork and my detailer doing the protection I will pick it up next Thursday. So it will be about a week as the dealership will need to prepare the car

They said to me that it can take upto a week to come through customs at the uk port then another 48 hours to reach the dealer. Then maybe a week for paperwork and prep the car etc depending how busy they are so they maybe gave you mid may as worst case scenario

Been scouring this page for a few weeks now reading all the comments, it has taken a while from page one lol.

Anyway, I'm a current fiesta ST owner which I will be saying goodbye to in the next few weeks as I have put my order in for a Polo GTI. Quite nervous of the change over as quite a few people would agree that the st is brill for handling and the sound system is impressive.

Anyway I have got for this,
White 5 door
Winter pack
Alcantara seats
Discover navigation
Curtain air bags
Sports pack
Climate control
Convenience pack
App connect
Parking pack
Carbon mirror caps

Order 1st April and estimates for delivery around the end of May - mid June.
Build week confirmed 2/5/2016.

Quite excited already! Test drove it and it made me smile right until we got back so I knew I wanted one.
Your cars look awesome! Gave me plenty of ideas for the future

Hmmm... I work in shipping and get quite a few cars coming though us, no hold up generally unless they're coming from outside the EU and most of the time they're pre-Customs cleared anyway.

Welcome! I moved from an ST myself and do not regret it.

I said in an earlier post that the ST might be a bit sharper and better for instance round a track, but on the road it is not a huge difference like the press make out. The GTI is still very decent to drive and a much nicer place to be on a daily basis, the interior on the ST is so dated.

I do think the sound system is better on the ST but I am 30 now and not into having the music banging like I used to so it is not too much of an issue for me! I would rather sacrifice that for the better infotainment system on the Polo.

Healthy list of options ticked too, I did most but not that many!

Yeah and must say I have to agree after the test drive said to the dealer that the st does feel a bit sharper but the cabin is much better and better built.

Haha, well I had the st-3 so guess I wanted the same sort of gizmos. Got the air bags as safety can't be comprimised.

Hi, I'm new to the club! Build date of 25/04 (Monday). Hoping to have it before my trip to Le Mans in June. I've seen three round my way. One red, One white and a black one. I liked all three and have seen the red and white ones up close. I ordered a flat black one with:

Discover Nav - hoping this comes with the Car-Net traffic stuff but i'm not 100% sure?

Mine is scheduled to be built w/c 25th, mines a 3dr manual. It will be interesting to see what the difference in lead time is between 5 and 3 doors cars and DSG and manual cars.

What is the current lead time your dealer is giving you? Mines 30th June but i think it will be here sooner.

I'm just hoping mine gets here before the Goodwood Festival of Speed so I can put it through its paces and see if I can manage to keep up with my dad in his Cupra 280 on the A27 drive down there!

Anyone on here going to bug jam 30?
