My dealer has said that problems at the Emden Port in Germany meant that for the moment they were not accepting anymore vehicles for shipping.
Does everything have to make it's way to Emden for departure to the UK? There will be another registration change at this rate by the time I get it.

Even though my build date has been confirmed I'm skeptical it won't get delayed.
Found out yesterday that a friend has been waiting 8 months now for a 1.2TSI SEL! His build date kept getting pushed back.

oh dear, ive just looked at this to cheer myself up lol, reminded me why i chose over the ST(and im Ford mad) "less playful than the Fiesta" they say. I can live with a little less on the limit fun for a suspension that doesn't fetch my fillings out and a rattly interior thanks very much.

As far as I'm aware, they do all come via Emden. Doesn't sound good for our cars arriving anytime soon!

Quite glad I cancelled mine tbh, been without a car for too long anyway. Please let me know how you find it guys, as I pick up my new car tomorrow. 64plate seat Leon cupra 280. Which was only £500 more than my polo!

Whilst some of us are still waiting on our cars, there's a decent write-up on the new GTI from PoloDriver.com here:
A hotter shot: 2015 Volkswagen Polo GTI first drive
Thumbs-up for the Sport button it seems.

I think the sport button is a must have for DSG models, not so much the manual ones

Good review, they talk sense, its not about track ability on public roads so the less harsh setup than the ST will b good. Can't wait now, but I must lol
