So for the forum users who are not aware of "Ameo".
Ameo is a sub 4 meter length sedan sold in India.
https://www.volkswagen.co.in/en/models/ameo.html
It is sort of Polo with boot and share many parts from Polo (6R) and Vento (Polo 6R based sedan)

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
1st- What happened to the folding mirrors installation you did in your 6R? Did you solve the problem? I remember that you asked for help here.sunilsoft wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 4:27 am Hi ciclo,
I have just bought a new vw ameo. It is based on the indian polo platform.
It came with folding mirror option, it has a switch to fold the ORVM mirrors.
My question is how can I program using the VCDS to autofold them.
Second Question is that I have tried enabling the acoustical horn on locking and unlocking. It works on my polo but doesn't work on my ameo.
2nd- Post a recent Autoscan from both.
However:
Example:
Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 6R0 959 801 BD HW: 6R0 959 801 BD Labels: 6R0-959-801.CLB
Component: J386__TSG_FT 003 8612
Serial number: KU0KU003041440937042
Coding: 0200A3
Thank you very much Amit for the info.ag69 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 29, 2017 8:50 am So for the forum users who are not aware of "Ameo".

(I already knew this PQ25 model, but I love people who collaborate selflessly)

Apart from working on the ECU file (Gra_High), I am also working on some files (that someone provided me) that cause a slight/minor error in my old BlueGT IC ... the flash files were corrupted.
I think I have the solution... I'm in the testing phase ...
In any case I already got an original software for my old BlueGT IC. (frf/odx)
My new GTI IC continues to work fabulously.

Hello guys!
Today I received my new steering wheel (6c r-line). I took it to my local shop to get it installed. Everything went smoothly at first. Then on the first power-on the airbag light came on. They were able to sort this one out via vag-com though.
Then we discovered the horn wouldn't work. Thinking its the wheel's fault we re-installed my original one only to find out that it wouldn't honk either! They said the checked the fuse and was okay. What can be the problem?
Note: I now have the new wheel installed and everything works perfectly except the horn.

Hi ciclo,
--- The auto folding worked on my polo 6R with the K418 module and it now works. I will check the software version by running the scan tomorrow and then I would seek your advice.
Sure I will post the autoscan of both.

Maybe it's a steering wheel unit coding problem.Nirline6R wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2017 2:52 pm Hello guys!

Hey ciclo thanks for the info!
Yes that was the steering wheel i had (no cruise control). The new one also has no crusie control.
I am sorry but I have no idea on coding. I do have though OBDeleven so if you could walk me through what I must do I think i could do it.

I do not know how the OBD11 toy works (sorry), however, me and many here can explain you how to change the MFSW coding on your 6C if you have a diagnostic tool like VCDS or VCP.
It is really easy.
===========================
OBD11
example!!!!
MFSW unit in 6C is a Gateway subsystem.
Example (VCDS):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 19: CAN Gateway (J533) Labels: None
Part No SW: 6C0 909 901 HW: 6C0 937 089
Component: GW MQB A0 H06 0046
Revision: -------- Serial number: 00727802XXXX

Shop #: WSC 00788 648 00255
ASAM Dataset: EV_GatewA0Lear 001001
ROD: EV_GatewA0Lear.rod
VCID: 65CAA94F64A08E1210-8030
Multifunction unit control module:
Subsystem 1 - Part No SW: 6C0 959 442 B HW: 6C0 959 442 B
Component: E221__MFL-TAT H03 0015

Battery Monitoring Control Module:
Subsystem 2 - Part No SW: 6C0 915 181 A HW: 6C0 915 181 A
Component: J367-BDM H08 0223

Re: ciclo's Polo. R-line 1.2 TSI 90hp 119gr.
Thanks!
The company I bought it from told me to swtch the cables. They said that fitting the old wheel's cable into the new one would fix the problem. I am a bit afraid doing that as I fear for the airbag deploying after the cables are switched.
What do you think?

i have no fear for the airbag, but it sounds a bit like they don't know what they are doing....
