Had a tall fail a couple weeks ago. Changing a light fitting at work, it was a real old heavy light we took down, walking to put it in there spare room, didn't notice the small doorway into it.

Smacked the top of my head on the door frame, then falling forward headbutted the light fitting. Ended up on the floor disorientated, our apprentice fell off his steps as he was laughing so hard.

Ouch

That made me laugh just reading it Chris  I dont think there is anything funnier than someone banging their head.
It happens to all of us though unfortunately, that's one of the ultimate negatives about being tall because it probably happens more often.

So today was the day for the big clean!

Car was pretty clean before hand so no need for any pics of this.

Some of the products used

Image

Car was snowfoamed first, then started with a 2BM wash

Image

Car was then attacked with tardis

Image

Picked up a bit on the bottom of the doors

Image

Iron-X next (it absolutely stinks!)

Image

Followed by sonus clay getting the bits i missed.

Image

Car was rewashed and dryed using ultra plush drying towels

Image

Image

A coat of SRP applied then buffed off (need to learn how to machine polish!)

Image

Poorboys blackhole glaze next and buffed off using dodo juice fantastic fur cloths

Image

Getting there.......

Image

Plastics dressed with "black wow"

Image

Finished off with 2 coats of autoglym HD wax

That looks AMAZING Chris, top marks mate :D
How long did it take you roughly to go through all the stages?

I'm hoping to do something similar to mine next week for the "for sale" pictures but I doubt its going to look anywhere near as good as yours does.

How do you rate the Autoglym wax?

Thanks Ben. Needs machine polishing to really make it perfect.

Started at 9 and finished about 12:30. The car was pretty clean before so didn't really need any major correction.

Yeah I love it dude. Perfect summer wax. Doesn't last as long as collinite but I think gives a better finish. Still plan to use colly through the winter months. Plus AG HD is pretty cheap off eBay. £25 with 2 applicators and a finishing cloth.

Looks absolutely amazing mate. Iv only been putting 1 coat of HD wax on. Do you recon 2 makes much of a difference?
