1st gear will now change up at a higher rpm to stop engine labour and to help stop clutch slip.
2nd also increased.
D mode is also a bit more spritely.
S is made less manic.
M is proper manual control!
That is the Harding performance software isn't it Gavs? I texted them and they only do it in Aus.

Yep, Harding performance are APR Australia.
Not sure the caper though but you might actually have to run APR ecu tuning also for them to do it..... Plus they now have upgraded clutch packs for the DSG too so I'm not sure what the go is.... Maybe it needs doing as a whole package.

Just catching up on here. Some really nice 6R's on here now
The golf R is coming along. Recently took it to Santa Pod and it did a 12.6 standing 1/4.
Here's a quick video for those interested. The Bocanegra I raced was running well and has the same engine, box and suspension as the Polo GTI. The one I raced had a fair few mods too.
and a snapshot of the end of the video'd run....

Hurdy, in the link below is not for sure a good way to threat the DSG7, but taking an approximate measure on 0-100 Km/h it seems a good time for a stock GTI...!
Have you ever tried this?

I've tried launching a " few" times. Never launched from 4000 rpm though!
