That description of the BCM pins is not mine, I copied and pasted there.
In any case, thank you for your contribution.

On the other hand, we have known for a long time the function of all the pins from the BCM PQ25, except the pin T73b/69.
To know the function of all the pins from the BCM PQ25 you must know all the VW cars in which it is and has been installed, also the behavior of different software.

I have not made a list of the pins, nor do I intend to do it. It is better to consult the diagrams. In them it is true (not in all diagrams as we have shown here :) ) ... and descriptions.

FYI: in the center of image is the static cornering light with Bixenon (left side). Philips 2013, I don't remember the model.

I will test with the following ones (eBay),
https://i62.servimg.com/u/f62/18/94/39/39/s-l16010.jpg
... although I will probably have to install LED bulbs of latest technology ...and longer duration.
Can you please give me a feedback after you buy them? I've tryed the Ultimate Night Breakers and they do light up more, but they are yellow...
Also, what xenon D3S bulbs are you using? I've tried several 6000k, but they don't seem to illuminate as much and as far as the originals (4300k).

Thanks! :D

Hi Orion :D , thanks for asking about something I'm doing and also thanks for sharing your experience.

Now/today I will upload some images (many) and information about the Mods (5) and works I did yesterday, among them will be the information about the Laser Nightbreaker H7 for my static cornering lights (SCLs). I hope they'll be useful for you.
My xenon lamps are the original ones (4300K), in my opinion they are perfect.

Please be patient, there are many images to upload.

Off topic:
If someone, as usual, asks by quoting with all the images again, or on unrelated subjects while I upload the information, the message will be deleted.

I want to remind everyone that this is the topic of my 6R (in case someone has forgotten :)) and that my only intention is to share what I do. Sometimes there are improvements and sometimes not. It's not my fault that my 6R is so beautiful, extraordinarily equipped and works like a charm !!! ... hahahaha ... I'm kidding, I like it even the most basic 6R. 8)

New Battery

Why have I changed the battery? Yesterday the battery of our 9N3 died after 10 fantastic years, this happened at 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, which means that it is very unlikely that you will find a new and original one immediately (we needed to use the 9N3 mandatorily).

I went to my VW dealer (fast, because Saturdays they close at 13:00). Logically they did not have in stock the battery for our 9N3.

Some time ago I had thought about improving the battery of our 6R, so I decided to buy the battery I had planned to install because it was available at my VW dealer at that precise moment, ...and install my original battery in our 9N3. :)

I installed our 6R battery in our 9N3 1.2 60HP. (no pics)
This is our 6R original battery.

...and this is the new battery that I installed in our 6R.

The battery installation processes are really simple (at least to me), so I have not taken pictures of them taking into account the short time I had to do it.

Some images of how the new battery fits. It is bigger if you compare it with the previous images.

Great!!! may i ask is there any specific reason why you go from 51ah to 61ah? Due to more extraordinary and beautiful equipment? Does it have effects on the battery performance if you maintain 51AH with all the equipment you installed? love to know that especially when I just retrofit the bixenon. (eventho i think 35W is much less than H7 55W)

With 51Ah everything went well with all the new equipment I installed, but I plan to install new equipments :P that will require more consumption.

I forgot to say that there are no problems with the Alternator, apart from that they seem to be oversized, the battery will be full of energy sooner or later, if we contemplate it as if it were a glass. :)

Thanks for your reply! Good to know that. Btw, your car is equipped with 8GU Alternator 140A as well?

H7 Laser Nightbreaker for static cornering lights

Image

Image

It is clear that looks yellow in comparison with the xenon or with my CREE LED foglights but in comparison with standard bulbs they are whiter and illuminate a bit better.

They can still illuminate with more power if we make some adjustments in 37 BCM adaptation channel.

Image
Save, and go test the new setting.

My experience with this additional setting:
They look somewhat whiter while retaining this yellowish color. By the fact of having the xenon installed, that soft yellow-white makes it clear when the static cornering lights are turned on, this is perfect in my opinion.

With 100% and my other settings in the static cornering lights the lighting with these new H7 bulbs is Excellent!
It may be necessary to reduce the delay that SCLs take to turn on... (other BCM adaptation channel)

@Orion, test yours on a totally dark road at 100%. It will like you.

Yes, they are not bright white but for driving they are excellent.

...for example, as the bright white of my led light for the reverse...
