Maybe some day, just for winterlooks, but that's not my main concern, I'm more into the summerwheels, the GTI's BBS RS772, still not completely sure to do with the centre's, darkgrey or polished?

Thanx m8, probably sounds unbelievable, but my thread on the Polo Club Holland's Forum is even longer
I already solved 1 problem for coming to some Brit meetings next summer, getting onto the ferry or train from France would have been a problem with the coilovers on the lowest possible, but that aint a problem no more now with the air-ride

Well, Edition38 is the one I hear most about, also from several Dutch VWclubs, so I guess that will be the starter, dunno if there's anymore "big" VW/Polo meetings in Britain worth the trip from Holland over the Channel?

Lads, why don't we have such dedicated places to do our cars up like Jarno here? Seriously; there's no unity here in the dubscene. Just look at that garage, it had 3 MK4's there waiting to get air-ride installed and I swear I've seen that purple one before.
It looks like so much fun; those guys messing around with the wires and stuff. And here's me...doing it on my own. It took me a bl00dy month to realise how to install new side repeaters ffs...I almost removed the mudflaps!
I dunno...its times like these I wish I lived in Holland....
Jarno...you got a bunk bed?

Jarno...you got a bunk bed?
Even got a spare bedroom and some place in my garage
And yes, the Vdub scene/Polo scene is quit small here in Holland, small meaning allmost everybody knows most people (well, there car's, faces aren't interesting, it's the car that makes the man, not the man that makes the car

)
But in the last couple of years I've known some enthousiastic VW-drivers who are really active with there cars, and keeping contact is only more fun, helping each other out is not only fun and garanties a sh*tload of laughter over loads of cups of coffee, but also fruitful for swapping knowledge and tips&tricks
But for an up-date:
Did some work last night, here's the result
Schrick camshaft in, adjustable camshaft pulley on, and mounted the refurbed AEE head. It's got almost everything renewed and is in 200% shape!
And another little picture, for some teasing, check out the 2 engines in the rear/back
Unfortunately they aint mine, belong the that m8 of mine with the bi-turbo mk4, collects them and swaps them in mk4's to make some cash

I'm a student m8
It's all about priorities, I don't spend my cash on bullsh*t though, saves me enough to spend on the car. Plus I buy all my stuff on Ebay, do almost everything myself and we have very cheap insurances here in Holland compared to the UK

Impressive.. i've a question: qhat are those "aluminium" tubes?? i don't remember i've seen them before..

I think it's just 'braiding' - a stainless steel weave around the original rubbber tubes.

They're indeed braiding, just a aluminum sleeve around the existing tubing, looks a bit nicer then those dusty&dirty black rubber hoses to my taste.
Did some work again yesterday:
head is now also matblack, manifold fitted, timed the cambelt with the variable campulley using the marking Schrick gave along with the cam.
Next time put on the alternatorbelt and pulley on the crankshaft, and put on the lightened flywheel, clutch and pressure group and mount the gearbox
