Well I've done it and traded in for an ST3. All on all I have to put in just over £1,000 of my own money so not too bad after all. The Polo has been great very fast, premium looking interior but it just didn't do it for me in terms of the driving experience and the ST's suspension is less hard and the ride isn't bouncy(about the same as the Polo) now. I did get a bit fed up getting misted up in the winter so returning to the heated screen will be a bonus.

Good luck with the swap m8. I'm sure some with say it bonkers(not me) changing after a short while but if u just don't let's say bond with a car then u gotta do wat u gotta do. I kept a 2006 fiesta zetec s for 7 years and I'll admit I cried when I traded that in for the 2012 zetec s as it was such a great little thing, and partly it was the last car my dad helped me haggle for lol before he passed away. Some see cars as just pieces of metal but there's more to it than that irrespective of if u have problems with the car or not. I know where ur coming from .

Good luck with your st3 Norfolk boy
What colour did you go for? I like the purpley blue colour or the White. There is an awful lot of them flying about up here in Aberdeen but just recently I've noticed heaps of polo gti's too
Did you go for the mountune?
Think my next hot hatch will be an s1 but the interior is s**t but it goes like f**k
It seems to be the rarest hot hatch going but that's probably due to the price of them

I went for red just the same as my Polo. I will get the 215 Mountune probably in a few months time just so I can appreciate the difference. Don't know about the S1 but the interior of the Ford is pretty poor but is compensated by the drive and the seats.

Thanks Andy. You've hit the nail on the head. It isn't sensible to trade in a new car so soon but then it isn't sensible buying a new car if you are worried about depreciation! At the end of the day I didn't quite gel with the Polo. Hope you are successful either in sorting out your Polo or moving on.

DSG
Pure White
Parabolica alloys
Jacara cloth
Armrest
Convenience pack + light & sight pack
