Dissoldering the chip is a valid alternative but a soldering station is required. I've only simple iron solder. :roll:

Replacing old gear shift gaiter made of eco-leather with new gaiter of genuine leather.

# 1 disassembly the gear shift parts

#2 fix new leather on old plastic frame (I've glued it)

#3 reinstall the knob. Final result :wink:
