Ok dude, I'll look into that tomorrow at work to see it's availability with us as well. We don't hold it in-store for definite but I'll ask the manager or whoever knows to get some more info for you.

Yeah mate I'll try find out, although for some reason o2 never seems to tell us exact dates of when phones are out. If we're not busy then I'll look into it more for you and maybe make a couple of calls to my contacts, retail helpline lol.

Ok so basically I didn't find out much because we aren't ever given definite answers for some reason.
Tim - The X-1 is rumoured to be coming out within a couple of weeks, as I said before for an unkown reason we aren't ever given a set date. Same thing happened when the Blackberry bold came out.
Shanty - We stocked the Arte from about April to June, however the 2 we had in stock never sold so I don't think o2 hold them in store anymore. Your best bet is probably to ring them.
I'm at work again next weekend so I'll try and find out some answers for definite from the manager as he wasn't in today. Sorry about that guys.

Nikz, any news on the X1?
Do you know how much the handset will cost? Will it have a similar Wi-Fi/3G plan as the iPhone?
Ta.

I'm at work next on Saturday ( I only work weekends due to uni). I'll ask some of my mates that work there for you guys though when I can. Even though I'm not 100% sure, I highly doubt that the x-1 will have it's own plan. It'll probably be the standard plans with the internet bolt-on offered either free on certain tarrifs (£35 upwards) or an additional charge. If you think about it the iPhone is almost like O2's flagship product so I don't think they want to give it a competitor. I'll find out more as soon as I can.
I'm presuming that the phone will cost until the £45 or £75 tarrifs.

Had a play on an X1 today. Very, very impressed.
Vodafone rang me earlier and asked what phone I wanted in an upgrade. So I'm getting an X1 in a free upgrade

My X1 was deliverd today!! unfortunately to my home address, not my uni one

.
You got the phone free? What deal/tariff did you get?
I had to pay £99, but got my tarif down to £20 on an online 35 tarif with O2, so 600 minutes 1000 texts IIRC. I get free web too
