if they are on a standard car can no one get the vw part number so we can order em ??
I'll try to find the latest updates for ETKA and try to find those grilles ;)

Updated etka.
Here's what I've found:
( i've selected the China section )

I've marked with red the parts that could be the honeycomb ones. I'm not sure about this, but it's mentioned that they are for a "Sport line" model and that they were introduced from 04/2009... this may not be the answer, but could be a starting point.

So, if anyone has a good connection with a vw parts dealer (that has access to Chinese market database), he should check those part numbers to see if they really are those from the Sporty model.

ive got a idea

that vagteam are based in hong kong...

im going back in october... long wait i know.... but if i can contact the bloke... say i want 10, strike up a deal.... then send em back in a big box.... then when i get back i can distribute over here?

idea? hmm......

or i visit a dub stealer over there.... lol

Think they are indeed the right codes... as one of the members from vwwatercooled received those grills and he said that is written this on one of them:

The intercooler side grille is not totally open, as seen on the other grilles, so if you are still running a standard intercooler it may not get as much air as through the standard item?!
