Contis 100% they are fantastic tyres - may cost a little more, but undoubtedly one of the best tyres you can buy.

Right so its been a while, work has been hectic but time to bring you all up to date with whats been happening.

Decided to go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 tyres, and they are so much better than the budgets that were on the front before hand, not had chance to test them in proper wet weather yet but they are a marked improvement in the dry, I now have so much more confidence in the front end.

The car has also failed and then ten minutes later passed it's MOT due to incorrect headlight adjustment which Sheffield Volkswagen kindly sorted for free for me so all good.

Finally I mentioned back in August about shiny bits turning up in the post and that I would get photos up, I have now finally got round to it so here you go...what you think?

Hi guys again it's been a while hopefully now work has quietened down a bit i'll be on here more often. Anyway I finally got the new braided lines fitted and they are great, car feels so much better under hard breaking can definatly recommend them.

As for the future well unfortunatly winter is upon us, so i want to get the car well protected, so got a week off in a few weeks so the Polo will be getting pampered.

1. Waxoyl the underside of the car as i have some left over from sorting out a mates car so figured i may aswell add some more protection to my own car
2. Damn good clean inside and out then lots of protection, i'm thinking Poorboy's Black Hole Glaze and collinite 476 any other suggestions?
3. Then im considering upgrading the lights primarily headlights, interior and boot lights. (for the interior i no everyone says ultraleds but which ones there are so many to choose from? My interior bulb measures 44mm and boot 36mm)
4. Finally any other suggestion you wise people can come up with to prepare the Polo for the winter.

All comments welcome and again thanks for your help in adavanced.

Martin

Black hole glaze will give the car a nice deep gloss and help to conceal some minor inperfections, the Collinite will seal and protect it.I'd recommend two good coats of wax that will see you happily through winter.May be worth putting some on your wheels too thats what i do.

As for the bulbs Ultra LED's win for me with quality, not as cheap as Ebay but in my experience cheap electronics are never good no matter what application.

Check this out,you havent got to get to the exact millimeter as the two tabs that hold the bulb in can be pushed in towards one another or further away from on another but obviously get it as close as you can.
