Very nice, think the anthracite wheels really set the car off with it being red. Saw a nice TT today with similar coloured wheels and it looked rather sweet. 8)

as for front end/number plate etc - what about going for the 'stick on ones' like mx5 style and stick it on to the bonnet - would be different

Cheers pal! Yeh thought about one but they are just as illegal as having the thing in the window! I've got a bracket made up to fit it on and take it off quickly for shows so that will be going on soon.

Unfortunately that isn't true - you can only put it on the bonnet if you can't put it anywhere else, like on an E-type or something.
Fixing of front registration plates: vehicles registered on or after the relevant date

6.—(1) This regulation applies to vehicles, other than works trucks, road rollers and agricultural machines, first registered on or after the relevant date.

(2) Except as provided in paragraph (5), a registration plate must be fixed on the front of the vehicle in the manner required by paragraph (3).

(3) This paragraph requires the plate to be fixed—

(a)vertically or, where that is not reasonably practicable, in a position as close to the vertical as is reasonably practicable,

(b)in such a position that in normal daylight the characters of the registration mark are easily distinguishable from every part of a relevant area having the diagonal length specified in paragraph (4).

(4) The diagonal length of the relevant area is—

(a)in the case of a mark having characters the width of which is at least 57 millimetres, 22 metres,

(b)in the case of a mark having characters the width of which is 50 millimetres, 21.5 metres,

(c)in the case of a mark having characters the width of which is 44 millimetres, 18 metres.
Full regulations are here

as said stick on number plate is not happening as i would have to keep ripping it off for shows to get the full effect of the smoothing :? . Think my definate plan is to get an import plate made and mount it in the middle at the bottom or to one side like on the blue polo in the pic afew posts ago

Lovely ride :D Doesn't the offside lower grille need a few more holes for the intercooler? Or is that an FMIC I spy?

Cheers pal! :D Nope no FMIC as yet :( not had any trouble with this grill in as the amount of cut out isnt much different from the oem one. Just the oem one has a scoop on it to direct the airflow to the intercooler so i fitted abit of "cold air feed" pipe to the back of it to direct the flow. I wanted these grills rather than the huge cut out one to keep the front more even looking plus wont matter when the FMIC eventualy comes!
